Day 1:Entebbe –Ngamba Island.
Early in the morning depart for Entebbe followed by transfer to Ngamba islands by speedboat. It takes 45 minutes to get there.
Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary Is under management of Jane Goodal Institute, is located on Lake Victoria and forms part of the Koome archipelago, a group of 15 islands and islets separated from Lake Victoria by the 10km- wide Ddamba channel. Dinner and overnight at Ngamba island tented camp.
We go for the most exciting activity on the island, the forest walk where you interact with the juvenile group. It is a requirement that if you have to feed these primates you must have under gone a medical examination about your health in case you infect
the chimpanzees or they infect you with diseases.
Board the boat back to Entebbe where you will either go to the Uganda wildlife education centre where you will see various animals and rare species kept in the zoo.
