16 days Uganda adventure safari

NOTE: The accommodation indicated in the itinerary can be changed depending on your budget and wishes. it is not a must to use the mentioned lodges.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

You will be received by your driver/guide at the Airport. Depending on your arrival time, if you arrive night time, we check into Airport View Hotel for a relaxation moment after the long flight.

Day 2-Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.

After a cup of tea/coffee, drive to Murchison falls National park-Uganda’s biggest Park which is over 5000sqkm. Drive through Luwero Triangle famous with Ugandan civil war of 1980, Nakasongola long stretch to Masindi town. Advance into the park. Check into Paraa Safari lodge for lunch.
Dinner and over night Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 3-Game Drive in Murchison Falls.

An early cup of tea/coffee at 6:00am Ferry crossing, to the Game drive Nile river Bank to the broad savannah for the most likelihood Big cats hunting, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76 we continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals . If you are a keen birder this might be your magnet to catch them. Afternoon-2-5pm for a 3hours Boat ride to the base of the Falls where you get to see the Hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the falls. Elephants quenching their thirst for the afternoon sun.

Day 4-Murchison falls-Kibale National Park .

Morning breakfast, check out of the park and drive along Lake Albert, to the escarpment area for a great view of the great rift valley, continue to Hoima town for lunch at the Kolping Hotel, continue through Mabale, Kagadi towns with great views the local community, thatched houses, school kids and finally to Kyenjojo town. Remember it a dirt road from Murchison falls to Kyenjonjo town. drive 55km to fort portal town and continue through the tea plantations for your evening.
Check into Primates’ lodge in Kibale forest for the night.

Day 5-Chimp trekking and Bigodi walk

Early morning breakfast, continue to Kibale park headquarters for a morning briefing and start the chimpanzee tracking experience. expect loads of monkeys, birds and lots tree species.
Return for lunch at the Primates lodge.
Evening relaxation or Bigodi Nature walks with lots of monkey species to see
Overnight at Primates lodge.

Day 6: Kibaale National Park-Semuliki National Park

Early morning breakfast and drive to Semuliki national park which will take us about 2:30hrs minutes from Kibale forest. Check into our lodge for lunch, get ready for an afternoon game drive with chances of sightings of lots of antelopes.
Overnight at Semuliki safari lodge

Day 7: Semuliki Park- Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with great views of Rwenzori Mountain, drive through Kasese town to Kyambura game lodge for your lunch. get ready for an evening boat ride on the Kazinga channel with chances of many bird’s species, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, leopards.

Day 8: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth

Morning game drive, in there are lots of game to see, Uganda kobs,  lions,elephants, buffalo and the pumbas (warthogs),giant forest hogs. Evening relaxation at the lodge as you look at the flat plains of the park with chances of viewing elephants in the acacia tree plants.
Overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge

Day 9: Lake Katwe salt mining area-Bwindi Impenetrable Park

Early breakfast, Continue to Lake Katwe Tourism center for a traditional salt mining experience and a visit to Lake Munyanyange for great chance of flamingos. Check out and continue to Bwindi through the Ishasha plains with chances of seeing the tree climbing lions on the way. lunch at Savannah Resort Hotel, continue to Bwindi and check into Buhoma Community for an over night.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking Experience.

Gorilla trekking experience get close to the gentle giants at least 2meters apart.
Return at your lodge for an overnight,

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi-Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast drive from lake Bunyonyi and continue to Lake Mburo National Park,drive through the game trails with great chances of seeing zebras, elands, Topi's, waterbucks and lots impalas. Lunch break and continue for the evening boat ride on Lake Mburo.
Overnight at Mihingo Lodge.

Day 12: Drive to Kampala

Early Morning Nature walk, return for breakfast , check out of the park and drive back to Kampala for an overnight at Cassia lodge located on one of the great Hills of Kampala for a great view more so at night.

Day 13: Drive to Jinja

After breakfast at Cassia lodge, drive through Kampala's busy streets and visit the Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest for a 2-hrs Nature/birding trip, continue to Jinja for lunch at Gately or Nile, evening Jinja town city tour, Bujagali falls visit. return and relax at the Gately Guest House.

Day 14: Drive to Mbale for Sipi Falls

Morning breakfast taken at Gately or Nile Guest House, visit the source of the Nile and continue to Sipi falls through Mbale town for lunch at Mbale Resort Hotel and continue to Sipi for an overnight at Sipi Falls Resort.

Day 15: Visit all the 3-falls at Sipi

After breakfast, With a guided Nature walk, visit the 3-falls at Sipi and the local community with chances of viewing the Karamoja plains on clear days. lunch break and hike back for an overnight at Sipi falls Resort.

Day 16: Departure day

Breakfast in the morning, drive back to Kampala and have your lunch at the Rain Forest Lodge in Mabira-Forest, visit the craft markets, Kampala city tour and drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your return flight back home
